Weekly fishing report for 9-25-18

Here is your middle park fishing report for the week of 9-25-18. Williams Fork Fishing, Surface temp is 59 at 7AM. Boat ramp hours are 7AM to 7PM. Water level is 84% and dropping. The inlet is closed to fishing. Fishing for all species is slow. A recent crawdad hatch has slowed the lake trout bite. Lake trout fishing is hit or miss. We are catching young lakers in 80' to 90' on rubber jigs tipped with sucker meat. Northern Pike are slow. Large Northern's will be working into shallow water mid day to sun. Small Rainbows are rising in the early AM and late PM. Cast to rises with small spinners or fly and bubble. Large resident Rainbows are cruising the shore line hunting second hatch minnows. Kokanee trolling is slow. Trollers are catching one or two fish a day in 40' to 50' of water. Randy H Guide - Fishing with Bernie 

Grand Lake is fishing very good for rainbows along the shoreline. Rainbows are attacking small brightly colored spoons. Lake trout are hitting small jigs tipped with sucker meat. 

Granby is fishing very good for rainbows around the creeks. Kokanee and rainbows are in Columbine bay. The last day to fish columbine bay is September 30. Lake trout are hitting jigs and spoons tipped with sucker meat in 50-80 feet of water. 

Wolford is fishing very good for kokanee. Jigging "Reel Bait" plain jane spoons has been very good.
