6-3-19 Middle Park fishing report

Williams Fork: Surface temp is 47 at 6AM warming to 49 by days end. With the recent sunshine the shallow bays on the west end are warming to 59 by days end. Water capacity is 83%. Water clarity is about 10'. Lake Trout fishing remains excellent. Trollers are catching from just under surface in early AM, down to 60 foot later in the day. Bottom jigging in 30 to 70 foot with rubber grubs or tubes tipped with sucker meat is producing hits all day long. The fish are scattered, so frequent moves are in order. The large lake trout bite has been good in recent days. Fish have the potential to be anywhere from 20 to 60 feet of water around structure. Large tubes and swimbaits have been producing most of the bites from larger fish. Rainbows are hitting small spinners and spoons in the inlet. Shore fisherman bottom fishing for Rainbows with worms or Power Bait are catching fish lake wide. Randy H and Sam H teamed up for this report.  

Grand Lake: Water temp 48 to 50 degrees. The bite for browns and rainbows has been good around the inlets and on shallow flats. small jerekbaits and spinners have been producing most of the fish. The lake trout bite has been good especially in the early mornings. Fish are being caught in 30 to 60 feet of water with small grubs tipped with bait.  Sam Hochevar guide Fishing with Bernie 

Lake Granby: water temps are warming to 50 degrees. The lake trout will be. moving out of the shallows as the water warms. Fishing for everything has been excellent. Lake trout have been eating Bio-bait tubes tipped with sucker meat in 20-80 feet of water. Trollers are doing well with spoons and minnow style baits. Rainbows and suckers are in the inlets, worms are getting lots of bites. Browns are still in the rocks eating Minnow and crawdad baits early and late in the day.
