Lake Granby Area Fishing Report 2-8-2016

This middle park fishing report is brought to you by "Fishing with Bernie". Slush on the ice was a problem last week but it seems to have frozen up in a lot of spots. There are still some pretty bad spots. Lightening your loads should help. Lakers are still biting very well and will start to suspend over the deeper water in the next few weeks. Rainbows and browns have been in water less then 20' deep. The best bite is early mornings or cloudy days for shallow water fish.

The pump canal and interconnecting channel is fishing good with small jigs under a bobber or drifting bait along the bottom. Shadow Mountain spillway is fishing good for brown trout. Bernie Keefe has been a fishing guide in the area for over 20 years. For more info please check out www.fishingwithbernie.com or Facebook fishing with Bernie
