Lake Granby Area Fishing Report 2-18-2015

This fishing report is brought to you by "Fishing with Bernie". Rainbows and Kokanee are biting very well in Wolford and Willow Creek. The rainbow bite in all the lakes is best from first light till about 9am, bright colors seem to be working best. Rainbows should be moving up in the pump canal and Shadow mtn spillway to spawn in the next couple weeks. Lake trout in Williams Fork and Lake Granby are hitting a variety of soft plastic baits tipped with sucker meat, depths are from 25'-80'. Look for the lake trout to start suspending over deep water in the next few weeks.   Dillon reservoir is producing some nice browns and catchable rainbows near the shorelines, Char are being caught in 20-50 feet of water. Bernie Keefe has been guiding in the middle park are for over 20 years.
